I’m writing a mystery novel for National Novel Writing Month!
November is my favorite month because it’s National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo). NaNoWriMo is a month where people from all over the world try to write a novel of at least 50,000 words in one month. I am one of them. I was so excited about writing my novel, I wrote down my goals.
And this year, I have 2 goals for NaNoWriMo:
- I’m going to reach my 50,000-word goal.
- I’m going to raise over $1000 to support NaNoWriMo because NaNoWriMo is more than a one-month writing event.
NaNoWriMo is also a nonprofit organization committed to spreading writing and creativity all year long. Their Youth Writer’s Program provides teaching materials and online writing tools for students and teachers. They donate free books to libraries in over 1000 communities. All of NaNoWriMo’s programs and services are free.
